Summer may be coming to an end, but our region is pretty serious about capitalizing on the final days of warm weather. September boasts several festivals and unique events ranging from wine education to family-friendly adventures.

Bubbles & Bluejeans Ladies Night  I  Friday, Sept. 5

Make a date with your girlfriends for a night of dancing, wine sampling and activities. Festivities will be at Townebank Fountain Park in Norfolk from 5pm-9pm. It’s free and open to the public.

Hampton Bay Days Festival  I  Sept. 5-7

Touch-a-Truck  I  Saturday, Sept. 13

Join the Junior League of Norfolk-Virginia Beach for their annual Touch-a-Truck event at Hunt Club Farm in Virginia Beach. Kids can explore big trucks, classic cars, fire engines and more. $10 admission includes access to the petting zoo, hayrides, activities and entertainment. RibtoberFest  I  Saturday, Sept. 20
